Solana Spaces were able to gather almost 400 guests curious to know about Crypto currencies on the first day of launch. The hopes are high as the new stores will open in the US and across the globe as well.
The CEO claims that the Solana Stores will perform as per the expectations and it will introduce approximately 100,000 users per month. Also, the CEO claimed that he will surely introduce a store virtually to engage more customers.
Breaking the Buck
The first physical shop introduced in the market opened in the Hudson Yards New York this Thursday, dated – July 28th, 2022. The shop was introduced to the physical world in order to teach people about how to deal in decentralized finance. Also, the store focused on helping people understand the Solana chain and get familiar with it.
In an interview Norby said, “ The shop had 400 walkins on the first day indicating that the United States store was performing as per the expectations. He added that the store was open for the people who want to learn about blockchain or who are new to the Blockchain tech.
Solana Stores – An Informative Approach
The store does sell other solana merchandise, but it majorly focuses on offering the visitors an educational experience. The visitors receive free instructional sessions on setting up a Crypto wallet and connect it to various Decentralized Applications.
Norby said, “ It’s not a store designed to be a place where you buy things. It’s a store designed to be an educational experience. We do sell merch, Solana socks and hoodies and other fun things, but that isn’t the main point of it.”

Most of the visitors stepped in, were either having little or no exposure to the blockchain tech or crytpowallets. Out of 400 visitors in the shop some had no idea about what Ether or Bitcoin are. Norby commented on this saying, “ You don’t need to be here unless you want the sick merch. If you are trading NFTs full time, there’s only so much value we can offer.”
The response to the Solana Store from the mere walk-ins was pretty convincing for the first day. However, no one knows how it will perform in the next few months. Though, the initiative seems to be informative and it may increase the interest of Kripto dar daugiau.
